Trunk Club Review

Happy Monday my loves and welcome back!! Today is such an amazing day its sunny and 75 and I am doing a review on Trunk Club while soaking up that Vitamin D! 

For those of you familiar with Trunk Club in sure you are already as In love with it as I am, but for those of you who are yet to share our love for this subscription box, you are in for a real treat. A few months ago I came across this subscription box via an adorable lifestyle blogger, and it just so happens that the first post of hers that I read was all about Trunk Club. When I saw it was a Nordstrom company I immediately  clicked the link and began my research, now if you know me, you know I never do or invest in anything without extensive research!! I wanted to see if it was like most other boxes where you have to pay a certain amount in order to receive your box, but to my surprise it was the complete opposite, with Trunk club you don't pay until after you get your trunk and decide what you want to keep.

Trunk club is a Nordstrom company that began in 2009 with two friends who wanted to make it easier for men to shop, because what man really enjoys a mall trip! It was then that Trunk Club Men's Outfitters was born. Over the last 10 years it has grown emensley, now know as Trunk Club it is not just a subscription box and app based company, but it is now considered a personal stylist service which now consists of 6 clubhouses designed for those who like to meet and try on clothes with their stylist in person as opposed to virtually. 

 A little Trunk Club overview, Trunk club is a Nordstrom company and personal stylist service, when you sign up you take a quiz and from there you are paired with a stylist  ready to build a wardrobe just for YOU!  I was blown away by how perfect my box was for me. My stylist was prompt with returning emails and answering any questions I had. Once you have established the basics, from sizing to price range etc. they will then put together your trunk and notify you when it is available for review. It was at this time that you will be able to accept and decline anything in your wardrobe. Once adjustments have been made it takes about 5-7 days o receive. Now for those of you with a Nordstrom card your $25 stylist fee is waived, and for those who do not have a card, your fee goes towards anything you decide to keep. What a wonderful way to be exposed to things you may have never picked out yourself. I absolutely loved it.

Overview, I was beyond happy with my trunk, it was so easy and fun for a change. Now I will always love the girls day shopping trip with my mom, but what a wonderful option for those who aren't close to a shopping mall or just don't enjoy shopping! So for my first trunk I only kept one item a beautiful white jumpsuit that I knew I needed from the second I saw it. I only kept one not because I didn't love them all, but because I DID!! I had to practice a little self control( haha). What I really do love and appreciate about this whole experience is how it encouraged me to try new styles and give up the styling controls. I look forward to future trunks, especially with my favorite seasons right around the corner!! Make sure to check them out and never forget the power of a fabulous outfit!

Skincare Essentials - Emme Diane

Welcome Beauties!! I am so excited to share my current A Lyst approved skincare essentials with all of you. For the past 4 years I have been a loyal Emme Diane customer and when I say this women is the skin whisperer I mean it! I was always blessed with clear skin and thankfully I had great genes so skin issues were never a worry or issue, until I hit 25! All of a sudden I found myself in a panic trying to find the "perfect" solution or a "quick fix" if you will. When I reached out I was contacting her due to acne concerns, and the first thing she began with was an online consultation, she addresses everything from diet, supplements and medications, to current lifestyle, and exercise routines. She couldn't have been more thorough, which was so comforting considering I had already spent so much money in the past so I appreciated how detailed everything was. So after addressing my concerns, filling out the questionaire and emailing pictures she recommended the Acne kit to me initially, and later we added physical exfoliants and masks as an addition to, but that was after the first 90 days of consistent care. Let me say that I was DEDICATED!! I went through a minor purge, which is very common when exposing your skin to new products, but I knew I was helping my skin so I stuck with it, and the results have been unbelievable. For those of you on the quest to healthy clear skin, I highly suggest getting in contact with Emme and consulting, it has been a game changer for me.
